Yes 8 July 2004 Estival Jazz Lugano, Switzerland "They Will Move The Sky" Jon Anderson - vocals Steve Howe - guitars Chris Squire - bass Alan White - drums Rick Wakeman - keyboards Recorded in the middle of the European leg of the 35th Anniversary tour, this concert was originally broadcast live in Switzerland. The show finds the band in fine form, delivering one of the finest performances of the tour. A real gem among available Yes videos, this DVD is comparable to any of the commercially released "official" DVD's. Kudos to lpf who put this together. (As an aside, this is also a truly international effort. It features a British band, performing in Switzerland, with an Italian commentator; the DVD was put together by a French Yes fan, and DVD cover art was made by a Chilean Yes fan. It is now being spread by an American Yes fan.) [NOTE: Following are the original notes as written by the person who recorded the show and produced the DVD. It refers to the PAL version and alludes to a "possible" conversion to NTSC. Obviously, the conversion took place, as this file accompanies the NTSC version of the show.] This recording is a direct copy of the live broadcast from the Estival Jazz Lugano concert. It is a digital capture from the DVB satellite stream (fully MPEG-2). The video and sound quality are excellent. PAL is the original format, but depending on the demand I will manage a NTSC conversion. Bernardo made the cover and menus artworks, very nice as always.
