VPW's weekly music show "Alternative Rockstand" broadcast this performance twice; the first time without sound! This dvd features their 2nd attempt (with sound) & was taped directly off Winnipeg tv in 1983.
VPW experienced many technical difficulties with this one, it comes off as rather amateur & unpolished for a tv broadcast concert. Most of the footage featured here comes from a camera stationed in the balcony. For a couple of minutes it switches to a camera on the left side of the stage. During this part (really the best part of the show because of the better vantage), the tape quality gets worse and the color flickers in & out. You'll see the same problem on all other circulated copies of this video, it was an unplanned part of the deal.
