My solution: record the vhs tape to a minidv deck. Every time it dropped out to blue screen and sent out the copyright signal to the deck, I just fast forwarded the vhs a bit and started recording again. This worked for the most part but it was almost not worth the trouble. I was able to salvage only 41 minutes of the 52 minute video. There are tracking problems and dropouts, but it's the absolute best that could be done, I even tried running it through a time base correcter, but that didnt help either. (I work at a small video production shop...) All it all, it's a very underrepresented period (video-wise) in the bands history... The other 2 clips came from a DVD that I recieved in a trade (which also contained 4-24-98 boston set two audience recording, not great quality, audience tripod balcony, bad audio, but with dj logic. I may do an audio sync on that eventually...) -RandyB 8-19-07
