I never would have known the songs were edited if I didn't have this video. In the spots where the audio is (cleverly) missing on the vinyl release, I had to patch it with the original audio. In conjunction with syncing the vinyl source in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0, I also used Sony Sound Forge 9.0's time compress tool. Up until January 13, 2008, this show was only available on Vinyl, cassette and 8-track. It is now available on CD. Each format has the same length for all the songs. They are all edited in the same spots. ***The first 3 minutes and 37 seconds of "Shabazz" are not on the video*** Here are the exact times in the video where the original audio had to be patched in: 01:07 > 02:27 10:19 > 12:14 13:44 > 14:14 (Banter, No Music Is Missing Here) 18:11 > 19:25 20:44 > 21:35 22:06 > 23:05 26:01 > 27:36 28:10 > 29:15 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: At the end of the broadcast, the credits state that this show was played on June 13, 1974. That is a typo. The correct date is July 13, 1974. Even Bob Harris makes the mistake of saying June. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VHS Recorded by: Unknown DVD Produced & Authored by: STLBlues
