Location Notes: This venue (there are some great ones in Louisville!) has regular seats with a central area that has several round tables up front. We were in the Front Row table 'B'. Initial hassles that shackaholic recieved with taping made me set up a small tripod on the table which was about 15 inches above stage level, 2 feet back from stage lip and 3 feet to the left of dead center. At set break I put the mics on my stand instead and put them 10 inches above stage level looking right over the stage lip Dead Fucking Center. The band was set set up about 20 feet back from the stage lip. Though MMW does not allow on stage mic'ing anymore, this is about as close as you can get. Listen for differences between set I and II, I bet few can hear the 3 foot slide to the right. I would put this in the top 10 recordings I have ever pulled, sound quality wise. The band was dialed in perfectly and played great!
