Being that my copy of the Pod OT's on cassettes sounded so
damn bad from my friend's CD's, i decided that maybe i should
use my wave editor programs and try to remix them to sound a
little better. i decided that i should do a proper search to
try to find the best sources that i could. when i started
asking other Ween fans what exactly was on their Pod OT's,
i recieved quite a bit of praise for taking on this project.
most people i talked to said that their copies sounded like
shit too. to start with, i used my friend's CD's versions
in conjunction with two different versions i downloaded
via FTP's.  The tracklist is based on one of the tracklists
from said FTP's. i've noticed that some of the songs are
identical to versions on The Pod except that the speeds are
either faster or slower. in order to determine this i took
the Pod versions of a few of the songs and adjusted the speeds
to match the OT track and listened to both at once on my
computer, fun shit! the versions of those songs appear here
as the OT versions remixed, i decided not to use anything from
The Pod as a source, that seemed like cheating. when i
completed remixing the songs and so forth, i had multiple
versions of some of the songs and the total running time was
more than three hours. here i have left out some of the
versions and other non-Pod songs i was originally going to
include so that the Pod OT's would fit on two CD's. please
note that i have kept the running time to less than eighty
minutes but more than seventy four minutes. there are some
duplicate versions of songs on here that can be left out, i
promise it won't hurt my feelings, in order for The Pod OT's
to fit on seventy four minute CD's. i hope you enjoy.
