Fascinating because you can actually hear audibly the metamorphosis of Tom from a struggling musician into a star. His singing style change is remarkable and his growing confidence is obvious. The earliest stuff doesn’t sound at all like the Tom we know and love. The change in his voice is amazing (smoking and drinking does take its toll, lol). Toms interviews are very interesting as he tells the background stories of the songs, kind of a pre-Storytellers thing. Don’t miss this one if you don’t have it. Enjoy
