James Booker's European Tour was probably the peak of his career, he played all the big festivals and was recorded for TV on at least three occasions.  Some of his best albums such as 'New Orleans Piano Wizard Live' 'Live at Montreux '78' and 'King Of The New Orleans Keyboard' were recorded on this tour.  Lesser known is that he also played the Nice Jazz Festival in 1978 with Professor Longhair.  This was captured by the celebrated French Director Jean-Christophe Averty and broadcast on the French TV network FR3.
