Missing the last song. Near the end of the 2nd set, the guy I was clamped to decided that he was tired of listening to them "fuck around" because they weren't "bringing it" and he broke his mic stand down. I taped the last few minutes of Hot Coffee just holding my mics in the air, but then I broke down completely before dude left with his flashlight. So I am missing the last song, Dr. Watson. At least I think that was the last song, they could have done an encore. I had to go outside and continue to wait for the locksmith that I called during set break, cause I locked my keys in my car before the show started. Ironically enough, on Saturday I went down to the Maple Leaf to borrow a clamping mic stand from Louie Loikis (who was taping the George Porter Runnin' Pardners private party) and I parked too close to a curb and ripped my tire open on a sewer drain. Maple Leaf was bad luck for my car this weekend. IMO, this is a good performance although they are just fucking around and noodling on alot of it, but that's what I came to see them do. They really didn't care about what the audience wanted to hear, they were just jazzin it up for themselves... Highlights are Caravan, Don't Be Squeezin My Heart, and Junco Partner. You can see in the pictures that Jason Picklemic Loomis was there also and he is the mic stand much closer to the stage in the sweet spot. I chose to clamp onto Chris Branas' mic stand because Jason was somewhere else at the time, then Jason chose to move up closer and it was too late to switch my mics to his stand because I was already clamped to Chris' stand. I was going to switch to Jason's mic stand during the set break but I spent most of the setbreak on the phone trying to get a locksmith on his way. There may have been some onstage mics recording also.
