Miss America (I Love America Mix) Comments: Pretty good recording from David Byrne's 1st solo tour. This was recorded by a Japanese taper who lived in New York for a few years; his equipment was superlative for the era. (I think it might have been done on one of the earliest Sony D-3 DAT decks, but I'm not sure.) The show is pretty entertaining; his album was heavily Latin-influenced, and he had a large Latin band backing him for this tour.
