BATTLES return, an underground supergroup that features avant garde composer TYONDAI BRAXTON, former LNYX member DAVID KONOPKA, HELMET / TOMAHAWK drummer JOHN STANIER and former DON CABALLERO frontman IAN WILLIAMS. They have a handful of EPs to their credit, and will be supporting the new Warp release, Atlas, here.

Battles played to a sold-out crowd and the energy at this show was intense!!!! I clamped my microphones to a pipe that is connected to the ceiling and watched in horror as I thought that at any second the mics would come crashing down! The whole place was shaking, including my mics, which were swaying, thumping, jumping, you name it. Thankfully all went well, and the mics survived, and grabbed another great recording for me to share with you.
